Midwest Thermal Optics strictly enforces the International Traffic in Arms Regulations known as ITAR. When purchasing from Midwest Thermal Optics, you are agreeing to the ITAR Regulations.

Export Statement Agreement

As an official of the company placing this order, or as the individual placing this order, I am aware of the restrictions imposed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 22, Parts 120–130, commonly referred to as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). These regulations are issued by the United States Department of State, under the authority of Section 38 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 USC 2778) and govern the export of articles, services, and technical data identified on the U.S. Munitions List. All night vision equipment systems, components, goggles, and weapon-sights of Generation 2, 2+, and 3, as well as infrared artifacts, illuminators, and aimers, are currently identified as U.S. Munitions items.

I agree to contact the Office of Defense Control regarding the export of any ITAR controlled items.

I acknowledge that I am fully aware of these export restrictions and understand that Midwest Thermal Opitcs, is not the exporter, either directly or indirectly, of any controlled item contained in this order. I specifically disavow any responsibility on the part of Midwest Thermal Optics for any cost, expense, or loss, of legal action resulting from any violation of United States of America laws of regulations governing the export of night vision systems, components, goggles, weapon-sights, and technology, as well as infrared artifacts, illuminators, and aimers.
