Refund policy

At Midwest Thermal Optics, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any products.

Discounts & Price Adjustments

We offer a military discount as a thank-you for your service. However, this discount must be requested at the time of purchase. In addition, all discounts must be applied at the time of purchase.

Unfortunately, we cannot apply the discount after an order is placed, as our system charges processing fees (5%) for any refunds or adjustments. We appreciate your understanding and encourage eligible customers to contact us prior to checkout to apply the discount.

Defective Items

If your item is defective upon arrival, please contact us promptly.

Defective products from the following manufacturers must be returned directly to them according to their warranty policies:

  • Infiray Outdoor

  • Nocpix

  • Rix Optics

Please refer to each manufacturer’s website for their specific return and warranty process.

Important Return Instructions

  • RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) information can be found on our main page. Please fill out an RMA before returning any item.

  • Returns must be shipped to the correct address—please contact us to obtain the proper return address.

  • We are not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged during return shipping. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance.

Additional Notes

  • No returns on demo, used, or discounted units.

  • No trades on traded items.

  • A 5% cancellation fee will be applied to cover non-refundable credit card processing fees, if you choose to cancel prior to shipment.
